Meet Mya, she is a ham! I've been photographing her well since she was in her momma's belly. She is so cute and each time I see her it's unreal how fast she is growing up. She just turned 9 months old and is starting to try to walk and already has a mouth full of teeth. Her mom says she is spoiled already but I can't say I blame her! She is a doll. Here are a few photographs from her recent session. The first one is my favorite! It was a one shot thing too before she starting crawling away.








She then decided she was finished. Stuck her tongue out and crawled away.

Operation: Love Reunited

A few weeks ago I was accepted into a great organization call Op Love for short. This organization is for military familes being deployed or coming home. You can check out my charity page on my website for more info. Once being a military wife I know how hard it is for your loved one to go away for days, weeks, months, years at a time. So with this I am able to do something for our troops that give us so much and stand up for everything we have.

This has been quite the summer!

I'm here to tell you I'm ready for summer to be over and fall to be here! This summer has just been awful for me started with pneumonia for a month. Now I'm having unexpected surgery next week that I just found out about on Wednesday of this week just what everyone looks forward to. So yet another week I won't be in the office. I am not allowed to drive until probably next Friday that really bothers me that means sit still do nothing. So if you are trying to call the studio please send me an email! I might not get your message for a few days if you call. I'm hoping to be back August 27th and nothing else happen to keep me away from it!! Have a great weekend.

A New Look

If you are here you might have seen the new look of the website it is not finished yet but I was up all night doing what I have so done so far. This weekend is going to be a busy yet maybe relaxing weekend. I'm headed out to Dallas until Sunday. Look for new cool stuff when I return!

Tragedy in town.

All tragedies are just that. You go through hard times, sad times, and definately a change in life. Yesterday was a sad day in Blackwell. A car accident took the life of 4 people. Tom & Rada, Whitney, and Jarrad. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families may God be with you during this time. I know all of these people or their familes. I hope that they will have comfort when they need it the most, peace when they need it, joy, laughter and love.

Life is so short. You are never promised a tomorrow. Live each day to the fullest.

August is here!

August a busy month for most people! Fighting the stores for school supplies. Did anyone notice that Wal-mart had Crayola crayons for 62 cents and now they are $1! In one week time they jumped that much. New clothes shopping. Wondering what teacher your child is going to have who is going to be in their class. Ahh the thrill of back to school. Personally I can't wait! My kids are constantly bored! I keep telling them if you are bored clean your room that doesn't work! This year I'm going to have 2 middle schoolers and a 3rd grader! Wow how time goes by so fast! Before long I'm going to be doing my own children's senior pictures. That's not something I want to even think about right now!!

So with that back to school specials well I have alot of them!! This week is the seniors session fee 1/2 off. Families 1/2 off session fees. One thing I hear so many people talk about is their school pictures how they hate them! Well now is your chance to get ones you will like! I will be doing pictures soon! Keep checking the blog for more details! I haven't figured out the date yet but it is going to be towards the end of the month! Pictures outdoor sessions will be by appointment only and you can't be late!
