It's almost that time!

Wow it's almost August!! I can't believe how time goes by these days. School starts pretty early this year in Blackwell. 3 more weeks and it's time to start the routine of getting up with the chickens, fighting my kids in the morning to hurry up. (We are not morning people at all!) This year I don't have to drive to 3 different sides of town thank goodness! My oldest gets to protect my middle daughter at the middle school. With school getting ready to start I'll be having several different specials so keep checking here to find out the current specials.

The joy of going to the doctors office...

As some of you know I have been very sick now for nearly 3 weeks. Today I couldn't take it anymore I was so sick. So I call the doctor's office wouldn't you know we don't have anything open. I was coughing so bad on the phone she felt sorry for me she then said if I get an opening I'll call you. Well I ended up calling her back I was on hold for quite some time waiting on her she then decided to get me in immediately. She told me to be there in 45 minutes and I was!! I really don't like going to the doctor, the dentist, the hospital anything like that I can't stand it! They had to dig up my records I haven't been to the doctor since I had Aaliah there anyways. I'm on my 3rd bottle of antibotics, 4th bottle of cough medicine, a new medicine for my neubulizer, and an inhaler. Hopefully I will be back to normal in the next 3 days! I don't know how much longer I can take this!! I'm ready to get back to work and get things caught up!

This is definately not the love bug.

If you have called the studio you might have noticed I didn't answer. I have had pneumonia for almost 3 weeks now. I tried to get out today did nothing but cough and cough and cough! Rain rain go away!!!!!!!

Anyone else just sick of this rain????? The weather cancelled the fireworks show. That was a big bummer! So now I'm probably going to miss it which upsets me because I love to take pictures of the fire works! I'm really hoping for no rain this weekend. My family is off for a long 3 1/2 hour drive to Duncan, Oklahoma for the girls state softball tournament. So to the Mini Maroons and the Tiny Maroons GOOD LUCK!! TAKE STATE!!

The Cheerleaders....

Cheering when I was in school it wasn't the same as it is now. Cheer competitions never heard of them! But I'm here to tell you our cheerleaders rock! They have so much talent, ambition, and so much to look forward to in their future. I'm especially biased to Morgan because she is my niece. But that girl can tumble, she can jump, she has more muscle than my husband ok maybe not but she is built. Recently we've been working on their calendar it was a long process but it's all finished. I designed the front page of the calendar and several other pages. I took all the pictures for the calendar.

I also went to Stillwater to watch them at Cheer Camp. These girls took home so many awards, honors, and trophies. They received the highest honor!! Go Girls!!!!

I can't wait to watch them at competitions!! Good luck girls I hope you have a great year!

One Happy Family

Kim, Chris, and the kids........ This is the second time I have photographed the children the first for the family. I have to tell you I love to take pictures of the kids. They are so photogenic. The session went great until it started lightning! Luckily we finished just in time. As I was loading up my stuff it started to pour down rain. It's always a pleasure to be around this family! Great people and alot of fun.

Moved... Updates.. and etc..

The joys of moving isn't it so much fun? Well Shutter Full of Dreams has packed up and moved to a new location. We are no longer downtown but right around the corner. We are downtown!!! SFOD is now located at 112 South Main downtown Blackwell. Right next to Holy Grounds. I hear they have the best coffee, java, and espressos. When you walk in oh it smells so good. I'm not a coffee drinker but the smell yum. Anyways... I love the new location. It has so much more open space. The best part the office and the studio is all in one. No more of having to go in this building for this or the other building for that. So now what's next a grand opening that never happened the first time. So a re-grand opening will be taking place at the end of July.

Now moving along... I have had some nasty crud now for nearly 2 weeks. I haven't even been to the office. July 1st-July 9th was my vacation week but I got an extra week due to this horrible stuff. So if you called I'm sorry I missed your call! I'll be back on Tuesday ready to go or I hope I am. This stuff is just hanging on and won't let go!
